We stayed at the Tamarack Lodge for a night before our river rafting trip. The location was beautiful, and the hot spring pool looked great, but the room itself felt dated and lacked some essentials. The staff were friendly, and we enjoyed the activities around the resort, but I would recommend managing expectations regarding the accommodations. Overall, I would consider returning if I lowered my expectations.
Rooms
6.0
The room had potential but hasn't aged well; it was a bit worn with carpets and paint that need attention.
Service
7.0
All the staff were friendly and helpful, although they seemed unaware of some details about local dining options.
Location
9.0
The resort itself is fantastic, surrounded by beautiful scenery and close to various activities like the gondola and hot springs.

I have been coming to Panorama and staying at the Springs for almost two decades, and despite the changes over the years, it remains a delightful destination. The valley trail for morning walks is a highlight, though there were some downsides this year, like the lack of seating at the pool and closed dining options. Overall, I enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning next summer.
Rooms
7.0
The accommodations were generally comfortable, but I would not rate them as particularly modern.
Service
6.0
Staff could improve in managing the pool area and restaurant openings; it would have helped to have better communication about dining options.
Location
9.0
The location is fantastic, with easy access to the valley trail and beautiful views, though some areas may need an update.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were limited during our stay, especially with Thunderbird Pizza closed for the season, which was quite disappointing.
Facilities
6.0
While the pool area could use more seating and maintenance, overall facilities met basic expectations.

My stay at this resort was a mix of highs and lows. The location is beautiful, and the Wilder Ride we experienced was fantastic, providing an exhilarating experience. However, I was disappointed with the pricing and the lack of communication from the staff. It felt like we were overcharged for the room, and the service at the eateries left much to be desired.
Rooms
7.0
The rooms were decent but definitely in need of an update, especially for the price charged. They were clean and comfortable but did not feel like a resort-level accommodation.
Service
5.0
While some staff members were really helpful, particularly at the reception, others were curt and uninformative, which made things frustrating during our stay.
Location
9.0
The resort's location is stunning, making it easy to access the Wilder Ride and nearby attractions.
Dining
5.0
I had a subpar experience at the restaurant; there were empty tables, but we weren’t accommodated, which felt discouraging. We ended up finding much better food options in the nearby town.
Facilities
6.0
The overall amenities seemed adequate, but the atmosphere could use a boost. It was rather disappointing given the resort's potential.

I had a mixed experience at the resort during my stay. The snow conditions for skiing were incredible, which I loved, but the resort management left much to be desired. The lack of communication regarding restaurant closures was frustrating and made dining options quite limited. Overall, I enjoyed the skiing itself but was disappointed by the management's handling of the facilities.
Rooms
9.0
We stayed in a well-appointed 3-bedroom townhouse which was great for our group and had easy access to the ski lifts.
Service
5.0
Unfortunately, the resort's management was not very helpful, failing to inform us properly about closures and leading to a chaotic experience.
Location
7.0
The upper village location was convenient for accessing the slopes, although it felt abandoned with most amenities closed.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were severely limited as most restaurants were closed without prior notice, leading to a frustrating experience.
Facilities
5.0
The ski facilities themselves were excellent with great snow and grooming, but overall resort amenities were lacking due to early closures.
